All the work was done by Church members and friends. We moved tonnes of soil and barrowed in vast quantities of ballast as a foundation for the paving slabs. The attractive trellis will provide shelter until the yew hedge matures. One essential feature is an electric socket which will provide power for the water-pump, Christmas lighting and musical instruments for outdoor events. Junior Church members have given us a bird-table and seats, slabs and plants were all donated for which our grateful thanks. to everyone who contributed. Back home!
